One of my favourite parts of David Allen’s “Getting Things Done” methodology is his two-minute rule. Put simply – if a task takes less than two minutes, do it now. If not, schedule to do it later. Time is saved prioritising and scheduling – or stacking and tracking as Allen puts it – as the task gets done and is off the list. What task can you erase in the next 2 minutes?
