I’ve noticed recently how much time I waste looking for details of events just before they happen – what time does it start? who’s the point of contact? do I know where I’m going? This is mostly when the information came in a letter or was embedded in an email – takes forever to find at the time. So my new habit is to extract the key information at the time of booking it in. No more last minute info scrambling or turning up too early. Phew!
